MO Frosh/Soph Have Big Day at Championship Relays

The boys and girls freshmen/sophomore squads had successful efforts at the Morris County Freshmen/Sophomore Relays last Friday, 4/16, at Randolph.
The boys placed third overall with 60 points. Results can be seen at mctrack.org.

Fr. 4 x 200: 1:43.79 Bakelmun, Justin; Maksimow, Justin; Eppel, Michael; Talanca, Anthony. This same team ran the 4 x 100 and took 2nd.
So. 4 x 100: 48.17 Rios, Juan; McMahon, Justin; Gonzalez, Michael; Colligan, Cory.
Javelin: Fr. D.J. Sexton, So. Chris Boyle, Fr. Robbie Amoroso.
Long Jump: So. Cory Colligan; Fr. Justin Maksimow; So. Juan Rios.
The GIRLS were 6th with 31.5 points.
The girls continued to turn out good high jumpers as M.O.'s team took the gold medal. Sophs Alison Shroeder and Laura Goodfriend along with fr. Rachel Smith won.
The girls placed 4th-6th in 11 other events out of 13. This amazing balance of sprinters, throwers, jumpers, and distance runners shows the strength of the younger team against the county.
red 8' to tally 24'. The long jump, javelin, Fr 4 x 100, So 4 x 100, and Fr 4 x 200 all took silver medals.
